Flowers

For the heart roars with poetry, when it hits a turning point…~mtg

by Marites Avisado-Responte

Who else could describe you better
But this woods fraught with disorder
Your words are songs of the night
That wake the solitude in sight.

Your smiles conquer the deepest load
Soothe the dark creeping in quiet
Your innocence bewilders the mighty knight
And bring his sword down the
deserted road.

Words, I have to lavish you
God has strokes to paint you
His wisdom creates you
For all creatures to adore you.

If earth is your home, glad I am here to stay
To dwell in your scent, till the end of my day
There in the ground, I rest and lay
Your beauty eternally brightens my way.
