My footprints may be erased by tides

and be faded by stormy winds

but the sand and sun

will never forget

the imprints of my kiss

in the space where I once sat

and walked on.

Footprints

For the heart roars with poetry when it hits turning point...~mtg

by Marites Avisado-Responte

I tried to write something
to relate anything that came
across my weary mind.
The room was so quiet
that only the heaving of my
breath was heard and poured
upon the distance of eternity.
I hope this instance to last
where nothing between me
except my empty mind and my
breath to live.
Words were undecipherable
Thoughts were uncommunicable
Only this life that matters
Only this moment to remember.
